According to Mosaic Family Services’ 6th Annual Gala Co-Chair Melissa Green,
“A close friend’s stepdaughter was sex trafficked in Florida and California. As she would share with me the efforts to find her, it seemed unbelievable to me that this was happening here and to someone that I knew. They did find her, thankfully. I was introduced to Mosaic Family Services through an event and signed up to volunteer. Human trafficking is horrific and I wanted to do something to make a difference. Mosaic provides comprehensive services to all survivors of human rights abuses, including refugees and survivors of HT and DV. I believe that freedom is a basic, fundamental human right and all individuals should be entitled to it. This is exactly what Mosaic strives to do for their clients. After volunteering on last year’s Gala Committee, I joined Mosaic’s Board of Directors and am thrilled to co-chair our fun and exciting event this year!
“Mosaic’s 6th Annual Gala will be held at 3015 at Trinity Groves on Friday, October 16, from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. to celebrate the strength and resiliency of victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. We are thrilled to honor Libby Spears, the director of ‘Playground: The Child Sex Trade in America’ and will also hear a powerful survivor testimony. DJ Andy Austin will rock this event and guests will experience a wonderful 3-course meal by Stock & Barrel. We will have a casino, silent auction, raffle, photo booth and open bar to make this a night you do not want to miss!”
“It is an honor and privilege to chair Mosaic’s 6th Annual Gala and to help provide hope for victims whose voices have been taken away. We can’t wait to see everyone there!”
“Tickets are $150 each and sponsorships range from $1,500 – $12,500. Tickets must be purchased in advance at mosaicservices.org/events or by calling 214.821.5393 x263.
