Since the 2024 Blue Ribbon Gala: Hope Unbridled is heading the Equest herd of supporters from their home base at Texas Horse Park to the Anatole Chantilly Ballroom on Saturday, April 27, it has just been announced the chief wranglers so to speak.

Co-chairing the event will be recently announced Communities Foundation of Texas Chief Relationship Officer Calvert Collins-Bratton and longtime horse-loving Melissa Oates.
Serving as honorary co-chairs will be philanthropists Kristy and Patrick Sands.
According to Equest CEO Myrshem George, “All are not only leaders in the community in both business and philanthropy but are also passionate about Equest’s mission.”
At the event awards will be presented including Pam Dealey Petty receiving the Founder’s Award and Carolyn Anderson accepting the Citation Award.

In addition to the award presentations, the evening will include cocktails, a seated dinner, entertainment by The Manhattan Orchestra and a silent auction.
While individual tickets, if any, will be available in March, sponsorships and underwriter are now available.
BTW, they’re also inviting folks to join the host committee here.
