Thursday night as the skies took a break from the waves of blinding rain, the Business Council for the Arts held its “Cheers To Change” open house on the 10th floor of The Stack building overlooking Deep Ellum.

While BCA CEO Stacie Adams greeted guests like BCA Chair of the Board Joel Austin, TRG Collaboration Officer Rhonda Contreras, Mary Pat Higgins and Evan Singer, BCA COO Jill VanGorden took folks on tours of the group’s fabulous new digs.

Stacie shared news on both the BCA’s new logo and its annual Obelisk Awards.

As Stacie told guests, “This evening was titled ‘Cheers To Change’… and I’m proud to share with you that we are changing more than our address. This summer we are also changing our logo.”

Enhanced by TRG, the new logo is “modern, yet warm… approachable yet professional, just like BCA.” It will officially debut at the end of summer

In the meantime, Stacie announced that the 2024 Obelisk Award nominations are now open on the BCA website, with the winners to be honored at the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District Hotel on Thursday, November 14.
