AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Bravo! Gala To Honor Longtime Art Aficionado Matrice Ellis-Krik

Bravo! Gala 2024*

The AT&T Performing Arts Center is honoring longtime area aficionado Matrice Ellis-Kirk at its Bravo! Gala on Thursday, November 21, at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House.

As a founding member of the Center’s board of directors back in 2000, she has chaired the board from 2016-2020 as well as being involved in its creation in the 15 years before it opened.

According to Center President/CEO Warren Tranquada, “For more than two decades, Matrice’s commitment to the Center, and to the Dallas community, has never wavered. She will tell you from her own life experience, that engagement with the arts can be transformative. Matrice’s visionary leadership and commitment to equity and accessibility have helped ensure that the Center’s mission, programming, education and community programs are available to everyone in this great city.”

Co-Chaired by Jill B. Louis and Immediate Part Chair Daniel Tobey, the evening will feature “the works of the Center’s five resident companies — Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center and Texas Ballet Theater.

Highlighting the evening will be Dallas native/DTC original member Cedric Neal.

Single tickets for the evening are starting at $1,200 with underwriting opportunities starting at $5,000.
