Despite battling the years of the pandemic, North Texas art groups proved their creativity and eloquence were still in place. Case in point was the Business Council for the Arts‘ 2024 Obelisk Awards Luncheon on Thursday, November 14, at the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District Hotel.
Thanks to BCA Founder Chair Nancy Nasher, BCA CEO Stacie Adams and Luncheon Chair Courtney Johnson, the occasion was a mix of recognition and reunion as area art groups, business entities and philanthropists came together with unbridled admiration.
From Daisha Board Gallery owner Daisha Board and Vari CEO Jason McCann to well-heeled Roger Gault and Venise Stuart, the look of the crowd was a literal tapestry of how the BCA’s mission was a success.
