“The 7th Annual Gala at the ‘Gait is an evening of big hats, big buckles and big hearts all supporting ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship and its mission to help children and adults with disabilities to move beyond their boundaries through the healing power of the horse and the dedication of a professional, caring community.
“On Saturday, October 4, ManeGait will once again transform its outdoor covered arena into an exquisite venue with a western-elegant twist. The event, held at 3160 N. Custer in McKinney, Texas, begins with valet parking at the barn and a chance to meet the stars of the evening: the ManeGait horses. From there, guests will enjoy live music from country artist and ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant Chuck Wicks, dancing the night away, and a “taste of” dining experience with food from Kent Rathbun, III Forks, Taverna Rossa, Whiskey Cake, Velvet Taco and others. Up for grabs will also be a host of live and silent auction items ranging from western bling to exotic vacations.
“Bringing together a group of more than 700 supporters, the proceeds from ticket sales, the auction and sponsorships provide approximately 40% of ManeGait’s operating budget each year. These monies allow the organization to support riders from across North Texas including those in Dallas and Collin County.
